Our Ministry Leaders
Elijah was born and raised in Kingsport, and has attended ISBC since birth. He has been serving as the Associate Pastor of Students since October of 2023, and is currently completing his MDiv in Pastoral Ministry & Preaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He currently lives in the Indian Springs community with his wife Nakayla and their three boys – Miles, Enoch, and Charlie.
Lyndy has served as ISBC’s Preschool and Children’s Coordinator since 2024. She received her Associate’s degree from Caldwell Community College, and studied Early Childhood Education at East Tennessee State University. She has been married to her husband Matt since 1994. Together they have three sons – Adam, Ashton, and Andrew.
Brian Hensley attended Campbellsville University where he graduated in 2000 with a B.A in Christian Ministries. He has been serving in ministry in different roles for almost 30 years. He is married to his lovely wife Amanda, and together they have two boys – Elijah and Jonah.
Tom has served as the Pastoral Care Pastor at ISBC since April of 2021. He received his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been married to his wife Carol for fifty-five years. Together they have two daughters, as well as four grandchildren.
